Well they are time savers regarding preparation and discarding,

but paper plates are porous which means that they are not that hygienic and

they should be okay and the paper plates should also be recyclable too but

There is the environmental issue, but also if I went to dinner

at someones house and they served it on a paper plate with plastic cutlery
